| What is eScrip? [Register online now | top] Introduced by ESI (Electronic Scrip Inc.), eScrip is a revolutionary new fundraising program that allows participating merchants to contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ ATM card purchases to the school or organization of your choice- St. Nicholas! Participating in eScrip means that you can help St. Nicholas earn $$ by shopping at participating merchants! All proceeds will go to St. Nicholas Expansion Fund! Is it a special card? No, to use the program, you simply register your existing grocery loyalty, credit/debit/ATM cards and use them at participating merchants. These merchants have agreed to donate a percentage of your expenditures to your enrolled organization -St. Nicholas!
How does the eScrip program work? * Supporters/Parishioners register any or all of their existing grocery loyalty, credit/debit/ATM cards for use in the program. * Participating national, regional and local merchants will make contributions to enrolled organizations (St. Nicholas!), based on purchases made by supporters/Parishioners, who use their registered debit and credit cards. The eScrip program will continually contract new merchants. * By using these registered cards at participating merchants, supporters/Parishioners generate donations based on a percentage of purchases as determined by each merchant or service provider. * Every month the enrolled organizations (St. Nicholas!) receive all merchant contributions made on behalf of all participants, as well as a summarized report listing supporters, merchants, and contributions amounts. How Can I Register? 1. Online by clicking here or at www.escrip.com the quickest way to register St. Nicholas ID# 5318266 OR 2. Return the mail-back registration form (the
slowest way to register) St. Nicholas ID# 5318266 What cards does the eScrip program accept for registration? Grocery loyalty cards ie: Safeway, Chevron etc., Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and debit/ATM cards. How will I know that my cards have been registered? You will be notified by mail when your cards have been registered and are ready for use on the eScrip program. What does it cost to participate in the eScrip
program? There is NO FEE to register "any or all" of your cards to support one organization (St. Nicholas!). ESI will split your donation amount equally between your multiple designations and provide complete reporting of each. Am I charged extra for my purchases? No, the merchant will donate a percentage of your purchases to St. Nicholas. Can I have family members register their cards? Yes, the growing list of merchants includes participants from across the United States. You simply send a registration to extended family/friends for their registration into the eScrip program. Additional registration forms are available from your organization's office. Can I enroll my spouse's card under my name? Yes you can. You may list all household family cards under one supporter ID. If both spouses have the same credit card number, it is only listed once. If they have different card numbers, list all card numbers in the database. I am already registered for eScrip with another
organization. What do I do? A card registrant needs to obtain a registration form from the enrolled organizations (up to 3) he/she wishes to support. Check the box at the top, which says, I have already registered for the program and I wish to support this organization as well. Card registrants can change the organization they wish to support by submitting a registration form from the second organization ie St. Nicholas. How will I know that my cards are active in the
eScrip program? You will receive a confirmation packet in the mail. You should receive this packet within two weeks. Your supporter package will contain: 1. Confirmation letter confirming the organization you are supporting and the credit cards you are listing with the program. 2. Stickers for you to apply to your registered cards 3. A copy of the current merchant list. (NOTE: updated merchant lists will be sent to you regularly and can be accessed at www.escrip.com) 4. An additional registration form for a family member or friend If an eScrip participating grocery store is using a
loyalty card to track purchases, how do I get a
card? Visit your local participating grocery store to apply and receive your grocery loyalty card. You must then register the card on the eScrip program. When making purchases, use your loyalty card and pay with any method you prefer (cash, check, debit/ATM, or credit card). It is the grocery loyalty card that automatically tracks the contribution to your organization. Example of grocery loyalty card: Safeway Club Card Security, is it safe to be giving our credit card
numbers out in this way? ESI has contracted with a national processor who provides state of the art technology for administration of the eScrip program. ESI's process involves flagging these card numbers for program use. The participating retailers provide the processor with the purchase information so a donation amount can be applied. ESI's systems have met the strict requirements of the participating merchants in the area of security, safety and confidentiality. What about privacy and security of my personal
information? ESI places a tremendous value on the relationships it has with eScrip program participants across the country. Safeguarding personal information is one of our highest commitments. ESI will not license, sell, exchange or distribute any specific information about its eScrip participants to any third parties who are not directly involved in the eScrip program. By participating in the eScrip program, you are authorizing ESI to use information relating to your registered card transactions for the limited purposes of processing rebates to your designated organization and providing cumulative reports to your organization. No purchase details are given to ESI for the eScrip program. The eScrip program uses state-of-the art technology for customer support and administration. These systems have met strict requirements, in the areas of security and safety, of participating merchants and processors. (See eScrip program terms and conditions on the card registration forms for specific details.) Participating in eScrip means, you can help St. Nicholas earn $$ by shopping at participating merchants! All proceeds will go to St. Nicholas Expansion Program! Saint Nicholas' Fundraising Potentials Based on expenditures of $400 per month, at participating merchants, the chart bellow illustrates the extraordinary fundraising power of the eScrip program. Expenditures can be for food, clothing, travel and entertainment, as well as miscellaneous family purchases. And, keep in mind that with the eScrip program, extended family and friends who live in and out of town can also participate, supporting our worthwhile program.
