HOSPITAL VISITATIONS
"Come, 0 blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; ... for I was sick and you visited me..." (Matthew 25:3146). When a member of the parish is ill and has been admitted to the hospital, the immediate family of the ill person should contact the parish priest as soon as possible. The priest cannot rely on the hospitals or members of the parish to inform him and it is the responsibility and duty of the immediate family to do so.
